The New 2011 Honda Odyssey

Toyota Corolla Recall

Japanese automakers, Toyota, Thursday (8/26/2010) announced the recall of the popular Corolla 1.13 million vehicles in North America because of the damage (defects) that can cause the car engine stopped while driving.
Toyota, the world’s largest carmaker, said withdrawal Corolla and Corolla Matrix made between 2005 and 2008 “for overcoming some of the engine control module (ECM) which may have produced incorrect.” More >

Garmin Nuvi Recall

GPS manufacturer Garmin is recalling some 1.25 million Nuvi personal navigation devices after detecting potential overheating problems in some of the units, the company announced Wednesday.
The faulty devices have batteries from an unnamed third-party supplier. Used in conjunction with a specific Nuvi printed circuit board (PCB) design, these batteries can “in rare circumstances, increase the possibility of overheating, which may lead to a fire hazard,” the company said in a statement. Only batteries from an unspecified date range are impacted.
